The identification of the battery and the tank under the rear seat, the Toyota Prius c is able to offer 104 cu. feet of interior volume (87.4 cu. foot passenger volume, 17.1 cu. foot cargo volume). The Prius C Synergy hybrid disc integrates the operation of components including a gasoline engine, an electric motor within a transaxle continuously variable, a nickel hydride battery, a power control unit (inverter), a converter DC-DC converter for stepping up and a hybrid control computer. The hybrid control computer regulates the application seamlessly gasoline engine and electric power, depending on driving demands, and the driving mode selected.

 

The hybrid system Prius C using a 144-volt battery of nickel-metal hydride which was placed below the rear passenger seat, near the center of the vehicle frame and to improve the low center of gravity. Toyota Prius c unit offers three modes: Normal, Eco and EV mode. Eco-Mode reduces overall energy consumption by adjusting the climate control and gas industry to improve vehicle efficiency. The body structure Prius C makes extensive use of lightweight steel reinforcing, to reduce the high mass of the vehicle and improve fuel economy. The 2012 Toyota Prius will offer three configurations c audio system. Toyota Entune ™ multi-media functions of the system interface for selected applications smart phones of the leaders, such as Pandora ® and Bing to display the vehicle's audio. 

 

The new 2012 Prius c, as all Toyota models, is equipped with the standard Star Safety System ™ that includes Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), traction control (TRAC), Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), electronic brake distribution power distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), and Stop Smart Technology (SST).
